Key Features
  • Funding Scope:
  1. Procurement and rental of robotic technologies (Note 1)
Note 1: The application shall be submitted via the CITF Application Portal from 1 July to 30 September 2025 (both dates inclusive)

 

Funding Mode
  1. For procurement: 70% matching fund (80% matching fund for locally developed innovations or products)
  2. For rental: 70% matching fund for Time-limited Support for Robotics

 

Funding Ceiling
  1. HK$3,000,000 combined per-technology cap of procurement and rental for robotics
  2. HK$2,000,000 per technology and per applicant
  3. HK$20,000 per month for renting each robot
  4. The funding granted for the procurement and rental of robotics will count towards the combined funding ceiling of HK$7,500,000 for ACT and BIM.

 

Application
  • Unless with reasonable justifications agreed by CIC, procurement or rental of the robots under this time-limited support shall be completed by 31 December 2025.
  • Maximum period for rental: 24 months for rental of the robots
  • All other CITF requirements shall apply to this time-limited support unless otherwise specified.
